- WHY FROZEN?: Buffalo Mozzarella is a very delicate product and in Italy is usually consumed within several days of production. Importing the product fresh is very difficult considering this. It is for this reason why the product is frozen on-site in Italy and shipped freshly frozen.
- Our Mozzarella is Blast Frozen on-site in Italy shortly after the product has time to cool. Freezing the product in Italy guarantees freshness.
